Welder for Antigravity
Add one entry to Antigravity’s MCP config, then sign in to Welder from the Antigravity App.
Steps
- 1
Add Welder to your MCP config and save. In the IDE, open it with … → MCP Servers → Manage MCP Servers → View raw config.
~/.gemini/ config/ mcp_config.json { "mcpServers": { "welder": { "serverUrl": "https://weldergtm.com/mcp" } } } - 2
In the Antigravity App, open Customizations → Installed. Under MCP Servers, click Authenticate next to welder.
- 3
Sign in to Welder in your browser and copy the authorization code. Paste it into Enter authorization code and click Submit.
- 4
Test it. Ask Antigravity something.
Under MCP Servers, welder shows a green dot.

Antigravity asks before every Welder action
MCP tools ask for your approval by default. Choose Allow on the card, or add the allow rule mcp(welder/*) to your global permissions in Settings.
welder doesn’t appear or shows an error
Check that the entry uses serverUrl (or url), not httpUrl, and that you saved ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, or .agents/mcp_config.json in your workspace. Then choose Restart from the ⋮ menu next to welder.
Welder says posting more isn’t included
Your first 3 posts are free. After that, posting needs a plan: start your 3-day free trial in the Welder app at weldergtm.com, then ask again. Connecting accounts, uploading and checking a post work either way.
Prefer to use a key instead?For a machine without a browser. Create one under Advanced → Keys in the app; it is shown once.
With a key, add a header:
{
"mcpServers": {
"welder": {
"serverUrl": "https://weldergtm.com/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer {key}" }
}
}
}Antigravity is a trademark of its owner. Welder is not affiliated with it.
