My AI app doesn’t see Welder
Quit the app completely and open it again: most apps only read their settings when they start. Then ask it which accounts it can post to. Still missing? Add Welder again with your app’s guide in Help.
No sign-in window opened
Sign in at weldergtm.com in your default browser, then try again. On a machine without a browser, create a key under Advanced → Keys in the Welder app and use that instead.
My AI says it has to sign in to Welder again
A sign-in can expire when an app hasn’t used Welder for a long time, or after you removed its access. In Claude Code, run /mcp and choose Authenticate. In ChatGPT or the Claude app, open the Welder connector and connect again.
My AI says publishing is unavailable
Your Welder account can’t post right now. Check Billing in the Welder app, then ask again. Connecting accounts, uploading and checking a post work either way.
A network asked me to sign in again
Open Accounts in the Welder app and choose Sign in again on that account. Posts to it wait until you do.
A post didn’t go out
Open it under Posts in the Welder app. Each network says what happened and what to do, and Retry sends it again. If a network didn’t confirm a post, check that account first, so nothing goes out twice.
Threads won’t connect
For now, Threads works only for accounts added as testers of Welder’s Threads app. Other accounts can connect once Meta’s review approves it.
I want to remove Welder from my AI app
In the Welder app, open Advanced → Keys and remove the app or revoke its key. It stops working right away. You can also remove Welder in your AI app’s own settings.

Six networks, each with its own limits. Your AI checks a post against them before it goes out.
Instagram

- Threads works for approved app testers for now.
- Posting to X needs X publishing turned on for your Welder account.
- Welder can delete a live post on X and Bluesky. On other networks, delete it in their app.
- Numbers and replies depend on what each network shares with Welder. A missing number shows as missing, never as zero.
Privacy and your data
The short version. The policies have every detail.
- You sign in on each network’s own screen. Welder never sees your passwords.
- Your AI only posts what you ask for, to the accounts you connected.
- Original photos and videos are kept for 7 days, or 7 days after a scheduled post’s time. Each media post keeps one small image with its history.
- Disconnect an account or remove an AI app anytime. Deleting your workspace in Settings removes everything in it.
